For future reference. This will likely be my last 7tsp pack so here's the method I use to create it using a Windhawk Resource Redirect theme.

REQUIRED Software

---

7zip - To extract/package the 7tsp theme.
Resource Hacker - To convert the raw .dll files to appropriate .res files.
7tsp - To apply the prepared theme.

If you're unfamiliar with the process it's recommended to start by creating a system restore point before proceeding further.

___

1. Start by downloading and installing the required software needed to create a 7tsp theme.

2. Once ready you can start by creating a new folder for your work. Start with 7tsp plus the name of the theme you wish to convert. For this example we will create a folder called "7tsp miniumISH".

3. Inside this folder we will require 3 items. An "Extra" folder which may contain the preview.png of the theme. (not required). Then we need a "Resources" folder which will soon contain our converted resource files. Also we will need a "Pack.ini" file which can be edited with Notepad containing the info required for the 7tsp program. You may edit a pre-existing one if you need guidance on how to use it.

4. Next we will be converting the Windhawk Resource Redirect themes .dll files to proper .res files used by 7tsp.
You'll have to follow the instructions for each .dll or resource file you wish to convert for use to .res. Open any .dll file in the "Windhawk Resources" Icons theme folder using the program Resource Hacker. You will need to save files from a .dll to a .res file. Generally the resources will require a .mun.res extension to be compatible with 7tsp. Exceptions are the basebrd.dll file which only requires a .res extension.

For example you'll be resaving the following as.

basebrd.dll -- to -- basebrd.dll.res
ExplorerFrame.dll -- to -- ExplorerFrame.dll.mun.res
imageres.dll -- to -- imageres.dll.mun.res
imagesp1.dll -- to -- imagesp1.dll.mun.res
shell32.dll -- to -- shell32.dll.mun.res
zipfldr.dll -- to -- zipfldr.dll.mun.res

5. Resave these files to the 7tsp packs "Resources" folder you created previously.

6. Once ready the package can be created by selecting the contents of your 7tsp folder.
Right click and use 7tsp to package as a .7z file.

The file is now ready for use by 7tsp.

Should look something like "7tsp miniumISH.7z"

Hopefully this guide will help in assisting those who still wish to use 7tsp as an option. Included are some shots of the process in order to follow.
